Winter Wonderland Light Extravaganza: A Photo Story

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas tree lights.

Maya Angelou

If you’ve been following my adventures this year, you’ll probably remember that I already went to Longwood Gardens. Well, guess what? We went again. Instead of bright, blooming flowers we went for their annual light spectacular. Their theme was fire and ice and they delivered an unforgettable experience that really jump started the season for me.

Before my trip there I just wasn’t in the holiday spirit despite decorating, getting my xmas shopping done, seeing family, and blasting holiday music at work. I love Christmas lights and walking around to see just how creative the displays can get. I even grew up in a town that had a Tacky Lights Tour, so I have always loved it.

Enjoy these photos of our trip last night and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you!!
