When I look back, I am so impressed again with the life-giving power of literature. If I were a young person today, trying to gain a sense of myself in the world, I would do that again by reading, just as I did when I was young.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner (How did this happen? Where did January go?) and that leaves you either excited about love in the air or just repulsed by the Hallmark-esque holiday. I fall somewhere in the middle. However, I do love me some romantic comedy reads. To start your Valentine’s Day reading month on a fantastic note, I wanted to share my favorite romance reads. Don’t worry, if you hate the holiday I will share a very different list in an upcoming post soon!
Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I give you my top 16 romance reads I’ve read so far in absolutely no particular order. I really didn’t want to exclude anything of these, so you get more than my originally intended top 10 list!
