Puerto Rico: A Photo Story

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.

I’ve always wanted to go to the beach for my birthday. My birthday is smack dab in the middle of February and is usually one of the coldest months of the year. Technically, I could go to the beach any time I wanted; it’s just an hour or two away, but that would be miserable in Pennsylvania winters.

I decided this year is my year of travel. I haven’t taken any big trips in 3 years and that’s way too long of a hiatus. My boyfriend and our neighbors decided to jet (by that we mean the cheapest economy class tickets we could find) down to Puerto Rico.

There will be an entire guide post and probably several more posts about PR because it’s just that amazing. To entice you to visit, or at least enjoy the view, here are some of my favorite pictures I took everywhere we explored.
